UNITED AIRLINES CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS

The minor check-in time conditions change depending on the type of flight, departure point, or airport and whether you hold bags to check-in or not.

Domestic Flights​:

All domestic flights, other than these that hold a portion of the international route, must understand the below-mentioned check-in wants if you should simply carry-on baggage:

  1. Check-in at least 30 minutes before flight takeoff
  2. Check-in 45 minutes before if your starting point is Aguadilla, Baltimore, San Juan, or Kahului.
  3. Lastly, if your flight leaves from Guam, you have to check-in at most a limited 60 minutes before takeoff.

International Flights:

Fares on United international flights requirement check-in at least 60 minutes before that flight (takeoff) departure. But, there are a few exceptions. They are as follows:

  1. If your departure point is Dublin, Honolulu, Lima, Peru, or Hawaii,
  2. It is compulsory to check-in at least 75 minutes before flight departure
  3. If your flight is in Manila, you need to check-in at least 90 minutes before your flight (departure) takeoff.
  4. For passengers with the Marshall Islands or Micronesia in their flight route, check-in at most limited 90 minutes before flight takeoff.

Codeshare Flight:

  1. All United codeshare partners have another check-in requirement.
  2. Both may change from United Airlines’ rules.
  3. If you check-in for a codeshare route, the initial flight must be determined by a codeshare partner.
